Firstly, thank you for reading and viewing this blog! I appreciate your support and interest! If you follow my Facebook page regularly, you’ll recognize some of the images, but there’s plenty of new, never-before-seen content. In my photography, this year continued to be dominated by politics, NBA, and Ballet. I’ve sprinkled in some travel, big and small things around us, and still mostly eyes and looking for emotions.
Being a contributor to both Getty Images and Anadolu Agency, my images make up a library of over 1,000 photos from Zayphoto at each of these leading wire services. They’re being published in the US and around the world regularly.
Each image was chosen with a reason and with hopes that individually and collectively they’ll convey something about Humanity, Diversity, Beauty, and Struggle…

In a hurry? – leave it for now and come back with a coffee and a more relaxed time to look over. I’d prefer not to have you rush over the selection; it took me a whole year to make all these photos, can you give me a few minutes to enjoy at a relaxed pace? Do you spot the red ruby on the black and white photo? – or the spark on the image titled: Spark?
This year’s shutter clicks were just around 100,000 (in a silly numerical approach, that’s almost 300 per day and one in every 6 minutes, but I gotta sleep too).
I hope that this body of work as a whole can give you something to take away.
